Need canned script to capture SQL 2000 Logins for D/R purposes

    We're having a SQL 2000 D/R test soon. We're fully prepared w/ the exception of SQL Logins and SQL jobs.

    I realize you can script these out ahead of time.

    1. Any recommendations on how others accomodate these object sets in a D/R recovery scenario?

    2. Does anyone have a canned script to capture SQL Logins?

    3. Can we rely on the restore of msdb to get our jobs back and intact?

    Regarding logins you can use sp_help_revlogin script located at

    Yes, regarding jobs, dts packages, alerts and operators you can rely on msdb database restoration.
