Can anyone let me know what are the steps to take or check if the query is taking more time than yesterday in SQL2000 please?

First you may do the basic checks like...if there are any blocks being created during the procedure execution OR if there is any job running at the same time....

Renuka, Thanks for the information. Is there any other way to check like show / update statistics method to check the query execution?
Thanks in advance.
