Can SQL 2005 System Databases from x64 Server be restored on a X32 one?

  Hi,

  We have a scenario where our DR Supplier cannot provide any x64 bit Servers for Testing. Can anyone confirm if it is possible to restore the System Databases from an x64 SQL Server on a x32 version ?

  Hello,

  To restore the System Databases you need to have the same Build as the originating server.
