We moved to a new server last night Win2003 SQL 2000 SP3 which has 4 gig of memory and this morning when we attempt to run a DTS package we get an error of:
Not enough storage to complete this operation.
Any ideas ? SQL Server is only utilizing 600 mb of memory so far. It is set to auto grow up to 1 gig.

SP4 should solve your problem.

Thanks. On further research I saw this as well. It does not explain why it worked on the other server before we moved to the new one though. Thanks. I am currently checking to see when we can apply SP4. We were going to do that last night anyway but ran out of time for our outage window.

I rememebr ran into this error also once. What I remember it's not like you get the error every time, it can work without problem for a long time and when suddenlyit's gone. Even when you retry the next time it might run without a problem. Anyway I would install Sp4 since SP3 is no longer a supported configuration.

Thanks for all of the feedback.
We ended up figuring out that the application on this server was in a loop sucking up almost 100% of the CPU most of the morning. Once that was resolved the DTS packages ran OK. I was all set to apply SP4 at noon but since we resolved it we will apply it next week after the holiday on a off time.
