Importing from Excel

    Hi

    I'm trying to dts from excel.  Have named a range of only one cell in excel.  cannot see the range name in dts.  If i make the named range 2 cells i can then see the range name but i can't see the contents of the one cell i want to copy.

    please can someone advise?

    Hi Helen,

    I assume that you are using a VBScript and Excel Automation, rather than using a linked server or using OLEDB and openrowset.  Have you got an example of your code ?
