I am facing problem in installing SQL server 2oo5.The situation is we have Clustered configured sql sever. And already we are running 1 instance of SQL server 2005 STANDARD Edition in this cluster. Now we want to install a new SQL Server 2005 ENTERPRISE Edition Instance in the same cluster.
So can you please make your expert comments that is these 2 different Editon Instances will not face any issue running in same cluster in Our LIVE environment !!

You can have multiple instances and I know clusters can support this, so I wouldn't expect an issue, but I have not specifically tried this. I think if you have Enterprise, then you can have multiple instances on the cluster and wouldn't need Standard.
Hopefully someone has done this and can respond.

Installing Enterprise will upgrade the standard edition. Enterprise should cover both instances.

Your lack of planning does not constitute an emergency on my part...unless you're my manager...or a director and above...or a really loud-spoken end-user..All right - what was my emergency again?

Do you have to purchase additional license for another instance?

As long as you're running with within the same OS session (a.k.a not talking about VM's), no - one set of licenses covers your instances.
If you're talking VM's there's another set of rules (depending on what version of SQL you own).
