Hi all,
There's a move here to change the FTP target IP addresses to DNS names, what I'd like to know is:
1) What is the procedure to find the DNS of an IP?
2) Any common problems I need to look out for?
Many thanks,
JB

As long as your looking for DNS hold the IP address information, it should not have any problem (I saw many time problems are DNS server connection lost).

I reckon you can use the nslookup utility from a (windows) command line console.
nslookup 172.21.210.15
might return something like:
Server: domaincontroller.mydomain.booyah.net
Address: 172.21.120.10
Name: resolvedDNSname.mydomain.booyah.net
Address 172.21.210.15
