Change Server Conntection

    Hi all, I have several DTS packages that reside on Server A. These packages have a connection to Server B.

    Here is the issue. We are bringing online a new Server to replace Server B, lets call it Server R.

    I need to point all the DTS packages to the new Server R. The underlying issue is I don't want to have to restablish hundreds of transformations.

    Can I use Disconnected Edit to make the connection change without redoing all of the transformations?

    We are using SQL 2000 latest service pak.

    Do you run all the DTS packages in a job?  If so, use parameter and dynamic properties and when you move DTS package from server to server, you don't need to change server again.
