setting the language in the connection string

Does anyone know how to set the language in the connection string? I'm having a problem where my dates aren't saving properly - I've had it before and I'm fairly sure it's because I'm saving the dates in a uk format and sql server is US. Last time I had this problem I set the language in the connection string to uk, but I've forgotten the syntax for it. Can't find it anywhere on the web and it's driving me insane!!!
any help would be very appreciated!!

No clue... never used that parameter. I just found it on connectionstrings.com.

Try this in the connection string.
Current Language=British English;
