  Does anyone know where I could find an article detailing the steps needed to use the data driven query tasks.?

  The purpose is to change all fields of a table which say F to Free and all those that say P to Purchase..I am aware a simple update statement can do that but how  like to do this using DTS data driven query tasks

  New to DTS designer The execute sql task is what was needed  and itworks fine.

  Great to have an opportunity to get the problem out
