  • I downloaded from MSDN.one.microsoft.com but you have to be a subscriber.  I don't know where else to get it

Are you sure you dont have

    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\VSShell\Common7\IDE\SqlWb.exe"

    ???

  • Hi,

For the Express Edition we presently DONOT have any front end tools to work with. You need to use the sqlcmd command prompt to work with the SQL Server 2005 functionality. ITs like the osql command line utility we had for the 2000 world.

    Thanks,

  • Thankx Vinod,

Is there any way of getting other UI version

  • If you carefully notice my other post you will find me saying "we presently DONOT have". So from Beta 3 which will get out sometime this year end, will have something to work with as UI for Express editions too. So the good news is there.

I have seen the Manager planned for release with Beta 3. Its a cool app completely written in VB .NET. So just wait for the same.
