  Hello,

  I'm going to install the SQL Server Desktop Engine but at following conditions:

  1. I have no administrator rights under my WinXP Professional.

  2. I can obtain that rights only for the time needed for instalation.

  How should I install MSDE2000 to achieve full operational capabilities after installation, when I lost admin previlages?

  Is this possible to use SQL Server Desktop Engine without having the admin rights?

  try to have the Local administrator of the machine .. and adjust SQL Server to run on that Local account
