Import/Export Rollback???

    Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone knows if you cancel a Import/Export task while it is in the middle of transfering data, does the operation get rolled back?

    It Depends  if it is a DTS package that has the USE TRANSACTIONS and COMMIT ON SUCCESFUL PACKAGE COMPLETION  (Package Properties --> Advanced Options) it will but if the flags are unchecked you will have to find out what was and what was not rolled back.

    Hi, thanks, yeah i didn't have any of those options set so it didn't roll back.  played around with it a bit and figured it out, thanks though.

    Hey I haven't been to this site for a while, when I came back to log in i noticed that all my previous posts very gone and I seem to be a new member, whats the deal with that, any ideas?
