Mssql 6.6 and cast and convert functions!!

  Hi,

  We have mssql 6.5 database,

  I tried cast and convert functions for a query

  It gives the error "CAST is not recognized built in function name"

  Any help

  CAST was not added to SQL Server until version 7.0 .
