Is there any speed advantage for a DTS package to extract data from a linked server's table to the local SQL Server ( both SQL Server 7.0) IF the receiving client also has a Terminal Services client connection open to the linked server machine?

The advantage that I found is just using select and insert sql statement to move data between local and link server is faster then DTS. DTS has more chance of failing to copy a table of 6 million record then the old style select and insert statement.
