Cummulative Security Patch Install problem

    I am going through the fun process of installing the latest security hotfix (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=815495) on all of our db servers. All but 2 installed just fine. The two having problems give the error:

    Hotfix Installer Error:

    No Sql Server instances installed on this computer qualify for this Hotfix. Check the version, language and service pack requirements for this HotFix.

    The two machine that it failed on are running SQL Server 2k Standard Edition sp 3 (8.00.760) on Win2k sp 4. SQL Server was installed using the default settings.

    Has anyone else ran into this error and have a fix? Thanks in advance.

    I guess I get to answer my own question. Installing Sp3a on both of the troublesome servers allowed me to successfully install the hotfix.
