  Error 17805 Severity 20 State 3. Invalid Buffer Received From Client. This error

  is returned from the database server to the server's event logs. I am running SQL advance Server with SP3.

  Does anyone know what it means and what action should I take?

  Did you receive this error from specific client machine? What is the MDAC version in client?
