    What's your version for Ms OLE DB Provider for Oracle? Also SQL Version

    try turning on MS DTC (distributed transaction coordinator) service.

    I ran into this before. Sometimes wrapping the Oracle query with OpenQuery seemed to help. Look up OpenQuery in the Transact-SQL Reference.

    i found out that i had to replace the MtxOCI.dll with another version.

    And it 's work now

    Fred2002, care to share where you found the info on the file you replaced?

    I have DTC running and am experiencing the same thing.
