Monday 9:00pmFULL
Tuesday8am-8pmT-Logs
9:00pmFULL, succeeded but crap backup and no tape backup.
Wednesday 8am-8pm T-Logs
8:30pm system failure, but have all full and t-logs.
Can you restore using Mondays full, then Tuesdays and Wednesdays T-Logs to get to Wednesday night at 8:00pm?
(i.e. skip the crap full backup)

wow.
So you can skip a full backup hey. I thought T-Logs were only good as far back as the last full.

There is a great article on SQL mag about retoring backups, including file backups, differential backups.

If the Tuesday full did not cause the log file to delete any of the internal data then Mondays backup will work with Tuesdays and Wednesdays TL backups, if the full marked the any log areas as removed then you cannot. Just give a try on a test server or to a new location of the prod server. I would keep the old files just in case.
