Is there a bug in the site?

    It seems that the list of pages shown for a topic in any forum is incorrect.

    For eg: if there are 30 or 31 posts for a topic, then the summary should show page links as 1,2,3,4.

    Instead it shows as 1,2,4

    I don't think it is a bug. I was looking at a few of the threads and it looks like the numbers shown are the first 2 pages and the last page in the thread. If there is only one page, no number is displayed. If two, just 1 2 are displayed, if three pages then 1 2 3, and if more than three you then see 1 2 LastPage#.

    ok... makes sense...

    Having ellipsis before the last page (if there are over ridden pages) would probably make it easier to understand.

    i think this is a fairly common problem in code. I see Amazon do this, but they display 4 pages, so if it's 5, you see "1, 2, 3, 4, last"
