Active Tasks always shows 121 threads across 4 pages now.
Recent Posts..Posts Since Last Week, always shows 150 across 4 pages.
I have tried changing my settings without any luck.

Not browser related?
I'll check and see if anything else like this is happening.

Hmm, the Avtive Threads problem is inconsistent, even in the same browser.
The Post Since Last Week, however, is consistent, even across browsers.

I was wondering why there were so few posts lately... I haven't seen more than 4 pages in any of the 'recent posts' options for at least a week.
This morning, posts since last visit gets me 80 posts on 2 pages dating back to 12:24 today (about right)
Posts added today gets me 124 posts over 4 pages, oldest - Yesterday @ 8:46 PM (when does 'today' start?)
Posts in the last week gets me 15o posts over 4 pages, oldest - Yesterday @ 12:05 AM
Unless this forum software starts the week on a friday, the last one looks very wrong.

Since I do a lot of my posting on the weekends, I have used the Posts Since Last Week quite a lot, and it has definitely changed in the last couple of weeks. Now it is always right on 4 pages/150 threads. In the past that would have been typically 12 to 25 pages of anywhere from 250 to 500 threads.

Steve, it looks like all three of the recent posts options (since last visit, today and this week) are maxing out at 150 entries. Currently all three are showing me exactly the same results, 150 results, 4 pages, oldest entry 2:39 pm today (my time zone)
2:39 doesn't match my last visit (6:30pm tonight), doesn't match the beginning of today or this week in any time zone I know.
Has someone perhaps stuck a TOP 150 into a query somewhere?

Yep, on my list for today.
Found there is a 150 limit for search results set. I'm not sure what it used to be, but that's where it is now. Any suggestions for a setting? I'm hesitant to let it go on forever as unlimited.
250?
500?

Isn't this the web paging "Holy Grail" problem? We only need one page worth of results at a time, but we also need the total number of results to get the total page count.

Any suggestions for a setting?
What's the average number of threads that are posted to per day?
Maybe have the threshold different for the 3 recent posts options, lower for the 'posts today' than the 'posts this week'. Probably more people use the former than the latter.
If memory serves, it use to be 500 posts max, 25 pages at 20 threads a page.

It is a paging issue, but it's also a source code issue. Short answer is how many results would matter?

I mostly use the 'posts since last visit' and I'd like it to be able to contain a day or two's posts. I'm probably not going to read threads older than that as it's likely they've been answered already

For most of them 80 to 200 would be fine with me. But "Posts Last Week" needs to be larger, at least 500 I would think.

I have been having problems with "Posts since my last visit".
There have been a few times in the last few weeks where posts that I made never showed up on the list. Of course, I can't be sure only my posts are not showing up, since I don't know about other peoples posts.
