Hi All,
In my database table there are some records with formatted with html tags and some plain.
Now i wanted find the records which are having html formatted tags. Is there any query to retrive these formatted data.
Please help me if anyone has idea on this.

You can get a running start at it by filtering for things that contain <\. By far and large I don't think you will find that sequence "in the wild" a lot other than in markup language (although you might also pick up XML as well).
Otherwise try scanning for common tags in the field : TABLE, BR, P,
finally - if you want to search on a broad spectrum of tags - download the DBA toolkit from this web site, and use the Reg. Exp. tools to build your own HTML tag matcher. DBA toolkit for 2000 is here

Funny how things are... because of all the testing you and I did together, I was going to look for the tool kit right after I checked for new posts on the forums... didn't even have to look 'cause "ooouup, der it is!"
