Restoring Backup from 2000 to 7.0

    Hi Everybody,

    I want to restore a database backup to Sql 7.0 which is a backup from sql 2000.Error while restoring. I can restore the backup to 2000 and DTS to 7.0, but i don't want to do like that. Is there any other way? Just i want to know is there any possible way from Experts and SQL Guru's. Thanks in Advance.

    You cannot restore a SQL 2000 backup to SQL v7.0. Your chosen method of using DTS is the correct solution.
