Replication in SQL Server 2000

  • I am trying to set up replication of a database from one 2000 server to another.   I want all the tables in the database.  I am using transactional publication. I go through the Replication wizard and at the end after I press Finish I get the following error.

Error 14294: Supply either @job_id or @job_name to identify the job.

Now, nowhere in the wizard did it ask for this information and I have an OK button on the message box.  Pressing OK causes the wizard to go back to final dialog box end and replication is not set up.

Anyone have any ideas about this error?

I have created replication on another server like this and it worked fine.  There are other replications that were set up earlier running on this server.  There is a third server that acts as the distributor.

    Thanks for the help
