Hello
I need to update a field(column) with an id that looks like this: 1-FIT2
so that it doesn't contain any numbers.
1 should be updated to !
2 should be updated to " and so on
How do I do this, using T-SQL..
Please help

update yourtable
set yourcol = replace(replace(yourcol,'2','"'),'1','!') --
where yourcondition
