We have an active/active SQL Server 2000 cluster. Apparently, the msdb database is corrupt and needs to be restored, but we are unable to connect to the virtual server. We can connect to the physical server. Any suggestions?

Try start SQL Server with trace flag -T3608 and restore the MSDB database.
