SQL 7.0 Memory

    Hi all,

    I was wondering if someone could confirm my approach for adding memory to a SQL 7.0 Server.

    I have a clustered SQL 7.0 app with 2 boxes. Each box has 1GB of memory. Is it true that if I want MAX memory, I could add 3GB to each clustered box and set the /3GB flag in boot.ini. Am I understanding that any memory above and beyond 3GB will not be used by SQL Server?
