Draft

  • I think DRAFT ability to the posting window do help help some of us. Imagine a scenario of getting a production problem (in the work environment), while in the process of posting a query. If we get this ability available, we would be able to save the text in the window as a DRAFT. We all get situations like this very frequently. Is it a good adea to have DRAFT ability?! So that that specific user can login and open his draft and complete the post. On the backend, if the DRAFT section is getting bigger and bigger, administrator can clear based on the create or edited date.

    Any thoughts?!

On first thought I'm not sure I see a lot of value in your suggestion (just being honest, not throwing rocks), but it might not be hard to add, so it goes on the list for further study.

Thanks for taking time to submit a suggestion - we appreciate it!

  • I'm not sure this is a good idea as we'd probably get a lot of drafts that never get finished.

I usually have articles in draft, but keep them as .txt files and post them when I'm ready. I occassionally do this in answering posts. I might have a "draft" on my drive as I work on it.
