Hello,
we have 2 identical SQL servers. Obviously one of them is a standby server. The standby server could also be used as a testing machine to test any patches before rolling them out live. So we recently configured the standby server with the same image of Live server (Obviously we renamed the standby server) but we are having a problem when deleting any job from the queue. We are getting the following msg "Error 14274 Cannot Add, Update or Delete job(or its steps or schedule)that originated from an MSX server." Any idea on how to resolve this problem?

I also got the same errror 14274, when i migrated the databases from the current development box to the new development box.
I believe this error related the SQL Server name since the system db "msdb" restored from the old box to then new box still refers the old box name.
The SQL Server name on the new box to be updated to reflect the new name
