I believe this is an sp_configure item. Check the Books Online for v6.5

I think that this is not a sp_configure item (cfr.SQL7 and SQL2000)

I don't find the topic in books on line for SQLServer 6.5

Are you looking at advanced options in sp_configure? There is nothing on lock timeout? Or perhaps query timeout?

There is nothing about 'lock timeout' in bol. The value for 'remote query timeout' is 0, but I get error 10249 'Lock Timeout'.
