SQL Server Logs Corrupt

  Our SQL Server Logs under Management (SQL Server 7) have somehow become corrupt. When I click on a log to view the contents, SQL Server hangs and I have to do the three finger salute to get out of it. SQL Server is creating a new log every day, but we can't open them. Is there a way to correct this?

  The error logs? If they are large it can take a long time to pull them across, better to copy the file down locally and open with NotePad.
