I know I am being dense but I have read a lot of information about setting up SQL Mail but I have been unable to find out much about it when using Lotus Notes.
My company uses Lotus Notes and we have SQL 6.5, 7.0, and 2000. Currently we don't have SQL Mail setup anywhere but I am trying to change that.
Can anyone direct me to some good information about setting up SQL Mail with Lotus Notes? All help is greatly appreciated

don't have notes here and never set it up. I know you can get it to work by setting up Outlook as an SMTP client.
I have a few URLs, but haven't tested any of these. Once thing to note, SQL Mail requires a MAPI client and notes is VIM, right? If so I'm not sure it will work. If you can get Outlook to send via Notes, then you should be able to get it to work.

The key is the server has to be MAPI, notes will not accept even if thru Outlook. We cheated inhouse by installing smtp server and using it to send to our inhouse smtp server that routes to notes.

Opps, that was not using SQL Mail but programming a DTS pack to access smtp servers cdonts and send.
