Error log entries

    Database: SQL Server 2000

    I have noticed that some of my error logs, register login entries, and other servers do not. Is there a configuration setting somewhere that specifies the type of entries that will go into the SQL Server log?

    Go to Enterprise Manager Property --> Security Tab --> Audit Level to verfify.

    Check your SQL Server properties. If you've set auditing of logon events, you'll see them in the Event Log. I believe this requires a SQL Server restart to take effect.
