I checked in EM and there is a process that has been running for over a month. Under "Process Info" SQL Server shows that the command is executing, but it was kicked off more than a month ago. It was kicked off by the last DBA that was here, his account is deleted. I am not sure why this command is hanging and am not sure if I should kill it. What does xp_fixeddrives do? I couldn't find it in any documentation online. Thanks.

It returns the disk free space status you can fire this comand directly on master database. It don't harm killing this command.

Other than that what are the names of the processes and the steps in them. Also what are they doing, replication is an item that works this way. It continues to run until it has a problem. Then based on the settings it will restart itself in most cases.
