Hi:
We are migrating from an NT box to a Windows 2000 box. We had installed SQL Server on the new box and had run a few DTS packages to transfer data. We found we needed to stop the new SQL Server on the 2000 box and restart. After that stop and restart, we now get this error when we try to run a DTS package: "The license for the installation of MS Sql Server on your source and destination connections does not permit the use of DTS to transform data. Refer to your license agreement for more information." If you can't have two instances of SQL Server running on two different machines, how would you ever migrate? Any thoughts on this situation?

Is one of the versions SQL 7 Desktop Edition? If so, here a relevant article:
