Drop databse

    Morning all,

    Isn't it great it's Friday !

    Anyway, to business! What permissions does a body need to be allowed to drop a database .... I'm fairly certain I've asked this question before but I'm afraid I've forgotten if I have.

    There are two server roles which allow people to drop databases

    ie 'System Administrator' and 'Database Creator'

    Sorry ! I've just found the answer. For those that don't know and are curious ...DROP DATABASE permissions default to the database owner, members of the sysadmin and dbcreator fixed server roles.
