Hello,
I have a standalone box with only SSRS Standard Edition on it as it supports 4 Node Server participating in AG. Did anyone run SSRS 2019 in-place upgrade from Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition? If yes, did you observe any issues with that?
I ran the Upgrade Edition selection from MS SQL Server 2019 Reporting Services and it looks like it's working, but I'm not sure if there are any hidden issues to the in-place upgrade to Enterprise Edition. Alternative to the above would be uninstalling SSRS2019 Standard and installing SSRS2019 Enterprise instead.

My understanding is upgrading from standard to enterprise is something that can be done without issue.
Now, that being said, I would STRONGLY encourage you to do the transition on a test system, do some testing with ALL reports for performance impacts, errors, and presentation quality (don't want to find out that exporting to Excel breaks when you upgrade from Standard to Enterprise for example). Upgrade on test, test the test environment, and only if you are 100% confident things are good, do it in live.
Also, you will want to be careful with licensing of SSRS. IF SSRS is the only thing installed on that box, it will need a SQL Server license as well. IF SSRS is on a box that ALSO has a SQL instance installed, then it can (usually) share the license with the SQL Server instance. We got hit with that a few years back, but we found the issue prior to our audit and got it corrected, but it is better to NOT violate license terms (accidentally or intentionally) rather than scrambling before an audit hits your company.
The above is all just my opinion on what you should do.
As with all advice you find on a random internet forum - you shouldn't blindly follow it. Always test on a test server to see if there is negative side effects before making changes to live!
I recommend you NEVER run "random code" you found online on any system you care about UNLESS you understand and can verify the code OR you don't care if the code trashes your system.

Thank you Brian very much. Management is aware of the additional cost we have to pay for SSRS Enterprise licensing on that standalone box
