I can barely spell postgresql let alone use it. I answered with a best guess but figured there must be a difference between them. After getting it wrong and reading the documentation I have to say I really like the optional addition of NULL placement with postgresql.

Thanks for this great fundamental question. I can't believe I got the SQL Server NULL sort order wrong! Time to review the basics.
