Restoration of DB fails : FileStream feature is disabled though it is enabled

    When trying to connect with database engine in SQL server management studio, it fails stating FILESTREAM feature is disabled.

    FileStream is disabled

    It is enabled in SQL Server configuration manager. All 3 checkboxes are checked. And Filestream Access Level  is given as 'Full Access Enabled' in SQL Server management Studio.

    It is observed that FILESTREAM access level is disabled in Running values though it is enabled in Configuration manager.

    I'm presuming you just installed and enabled Filestream.  Did you restart the SQL Server instance after installing the feature?

    Thanks for your reply. Restarted the SQL server instance, still not able to connect.

    Selected all those 3 check boxes in FileStream and restarted. Then tried to connect in DB. Not able to do it

    Is there a Windows service that needs to start ?

    Thank you for your reply. Can you mention what are all the necessary window services needs to be started while trying to restore DB.

    Thanks a lot. Started 'SQL Full-Text Filter Daemon Launcher'. Its working now. Thank you so much.
