Steve, Merry Christmas to you and yours. I hope you horse chores go well for you today and all winter. You remind me of my farm days that ended when I left for school in 1961. I had chores of feeding chickens, hogs, and sheep and making sure water supplies were not frozen before and after high school on those cold midwest days. I loved every minute of it and envy your still getting to enjoy that good life. Well, somewhat, I guess. I just got up after my first two mugs of coffee in bed.
My wife and I did get to enjoy your state for some years when we bought an old mining claim about 30 miles outside Gunnison and built a log cabin for our summers. All through my career I looked for a job in Colorado but it never worked out for me.
Best wishes to you and yours for 2024. I'll be following you all on SSC.
Rick

Thanks, and no horse chores for me. A little under the weather yesterday, but luckily my kids stepped up and shouldered the load
