In just a few short weeks, SQLSaturday Madison will happen in Madison, WI, and I’m happy to say that I’m a part of it again this year.

On Friday, April 6, I’ll present my new “Data Security for the Cloud” pre-conference session. This is a full-day workshop all about the differences in database security between the major public cloud platforms. The afternoon includes a deep dive into the features, including labs that give attendees hands-on experience in configuring security for the cloud. I had a great response from this session in Chicago, and I’m looking forward to presenting it to the Madison audience. If data security isn’t your thing, there are four other pre-conference sessions that day on PowerShell, R, performance tuning, and migrating to Azure.

Then, on Saturday, April 7, the free SQLSaturday conference occurs, with over 40 sessions on a wide variety of topics. I’ll be presenting my “Three Steps to Lasting Encryption” session that was rated as one of the top sessions from the 2017 PASS Summit.

The Madison crew always puts on a great conference, and I’m sure that this year will be no exception. You can register for both the pre-cons and the main conference at the SQLSaturday Madison home page.
