Looking to attend a security summit in cooler weather that will benefit students? Applachian State holds an annual cybersecurity summit and this year it is scheduled for September 8, 2023. As indicated on the website, “All Proceeds from the events fund student scholarships in the Department of Computer Information Systems.”
So this a great opportunity to do some professional development and networking and help fund student scholarships as well. In addition, there is a Women in Technology dinner the night before the conference.
