  Hello, trying to install new SQL server 2019 but getting this following SQL Writer error.

  " Error installing SQL Server Writer Component Could not write value NT SERVICE\SQLWriter to key \SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\VSS\VssAccessControl. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel. Error code: 1406 "

  Are you running the install as an administrator?

  The error is to do with permissions to write to the registry.
