Scenario: We have an MDS 2016 instance, and end users are using the 2016 Add-in for MS Excel to view the model and update entities.
Issue: Smaller entities will download without issue to MSExcel. For larger entities, we are getting only partial data downloads.
e.g. ~3800 members from a 5500 row entity.
The error message then pops up:
I am wondering if this is something like a web service config issue?
Any advice gratefully accepted!

Just two things come to mind, don't use "localhost" as a server name and check the MaximumDbaEntitySize setting.
😎
It looks like you have a network issue though, check the things I mentioned and then check the network!
