    I have observed TRY_CONVERT to be slow in terms of performance. It would be good to do some comparative analysis for the same.

    Hi Aakash,

    I just ran a quick test converting a million integer values to varchars and didn't see much difference in performance. If you have an example where TRY_CONVERT is much worse than CONVERT I'd love to see it.
