Invalid Column __$command_id issue during CDC implementation in SSIS package

  In our development SQL Server I just upgraded to sql server 2014 cu10. Our SSIS Packages are now not working because of this new
  column added  to the cdc tables(i.e. _$command_id). I have read blogs on this but I'm still a little confused. The blog I read talked about running a sql script to fix this.

  An additional info would be helpful.

  Most of the blogs have some type of script or stored procedure to execute for this issue. Not sure which blog you read but I would look at this one and pay attention to the comments as well:
   CDC functionality may break after upgrading to the latest CU for SQL Server 2012, 2014 and 2016

  You may want to consider upgrading to a new service pack or CU. Those affected are listed in the above article.
