Backup probleme with SQl Server Writer - folder offline

Hi,

I use a tool to backup mysq MSSQL database with Writer SQL SERVER VSS.

A database for a database not work because it's excluded from VSS Writer...

Here the log of SQL Server Writer :

Hi,
The database was only used by one request.
Dev Team has migrated the data in an other database.
The database was put OFFLINE and get out of AAG.

Ask the vendor of the tool for help?

Is the database "offline" or the folder "" offline?

Have you tried fiddling with the folder permissions ( perhaps the tool, sql server, your account) doesn't have access

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Then vendor says that it's a Microsoft problem so i have to contact Microsoft .... So you understand that i am alone ..

An other information : The database is member of AAG Group.

Backup on primary database is OK. The problem is on the Replica.

I have compared the permission on each server (Primary and Replica) - the same.

I'm not familiar with AAG groups or replica's.

As you're working with AAG's you might get funding for a MS support call / consultant to sort it out

Lordy. I'd be interested in knowing the name of such an arrogant vendor that won't even help a paying customer identify what the issue is so that you could ask MS about it.
