Purging / deleting ExternalMailQueue which has around 700,000 records

    What is the easy way to purge ExternalMailQueue ?

    I tried using END Conversation command but it takes lot of time.

    I dont want to retain any history. What is the quick and dirty way to clear all mail items including Queue.

    Maybe try:

    EXEC msdb.dbo.sysmail_delete_mailitems_sp
