Hi Friends,
I trying to get some information regarding TLS1.2 support on SQL Server 2012 SP4 (11.0.7001.0) version. We currently have TLS1.0, SQL Server 2012 SP4 Developer Edition(64- bit) on Windows2008 R2. Would like to know if there are any Cumulative updates or hot fixes for TLS1.2. From my research on google from the links below, I see there are Cumulative updates for SQL 2012 SP1,SP2,SP3 etc but I could not find any information on SP4. Does it mean there are updates or hot fixes needed for SQL 2012 SP4 since it is the latest edition? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3135244/tls-1-2-support-for-microsoft-sql-server

Please advice. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

No idea on TLS 1.2, but I have to at least ask what's driving the desire to use SQL 2012? It's at least 6 years out of date, and I can't imagine support not ending sometime in the relatively near future, so even if there were a fix, how long would it be any good for?

Yes agree. This is for one of our clients and yes we have been pushing for an upgrade, for years! Hoping they upgrade soon, but as of now we are looking to see if TLS1.2 is supported on SQL Server 2012 SP4 and if a fix is needed. Thank you
