"Non-desktop version of Windows"? Do you mean Windows Server? Generally, in a business environment, that's the version of Windows that's going to be installed of; you don't install Windows Professional on a Server, you install Windows Server (for obvious reasons).
What do you mean the "installation commands"? Are you looking for details on how to do an unattended installation?

I understand business environments use windows server. However, the one i am talking about is the windows server which will not have GUI and you have to install software's using ms dos commands or powershell. Sorry i was not clear in my previous email. Let me know if you have any questions?

Ahh, so you mean an installation of Windows without a Graphical user Interface; very different to saying "non-desktop windows", which implies Windows designed for something other than a Desktop PC.
The Documentation for SQL Server is very complete, so it should always be your first port of call for questions like this. A simple search would have likely yielded you the result, and knowing how to use a Search Engine and a products Documentation are invaluable skills in the IT industry. You can find how to install it via the Command Line here: Install SQL Server from the Command Prompt
That should give you all the information you need.

Thanks! I am not able to find the SQL Server 2017 enterprise evaluation download. All i can see is express edition. Is this something you ever have to install and download sql server 2017 enterprise evaluation edition?

you can get the developer edition here - for non production use.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-ie/sql-server/sql-server-downloads
once you tested whatever you need you will have to decide if you need enterprise or standard edition to install on your prod server

This is Windows Server Core, if that helps your Googling.
